Great Egret

Great Egrets, with their yellow beaks and black feet, are a common sight at many ponds throughout Marin, in this case at the ponds next to the San Rafael sewage treatment plant.

Snowy Egret

A Snowy Egret on the look-out. Snowy Egrets can be distinguished from their larger cousins, the Great Egrets, by their size (they are smaller), black beaks and yellow feet.
