Of course, having a boat slip next to your restaurant will not ensure by itself that your restaurant will stay in business, but it does not hurt to make it more convenient for some of your customers to get to your place. And there are not too many places in Sausalito where you can just park your boat outside when going for a meal.

Only a bit off the main tourist mile in Sausalito, but the impact is fatal — the former Valhalla has gone through a number of tenants over the last years, but all of them failed. It does not matter under what restaurant name they served Steak, Fusion, Indian or American cuisine, what counts in Sausalito remains Location, Location and Location.
