Surfing is a year-round sport here, but activity always picks up in the spring. However, most surfers seem to always be in search of a better wave, even if it does not seem like there might be a better one on the horizon…

The Tennessee Valley beach is always worth a visit — while the water is very cold in the late fall, hikers are still drawn to the beach when the weather is nice.
