Some of our readers keep asking me what equipment one has to have in order to start photoblogging. My answer: A keen eye and a passion is more important than seemingly “right” or “wrong” equipment.
Here’s what I use – since I typically use my car to go to various places, a lot of my equipment stays in my trunk. There I keep my tripod and my monopod plus an empty bag which I use for longer hikes when I only want to carry certain equipment. My camera and lenses (see here for details) are in my main bag which I just put in the car whenever I want to go take photographs. And don’t forget the water…
